WHO WE ARE
Bilochpura Agro is part of Estrela Inc., into the production of Basmati Rice, Wheat, Sugarcane, Pulses, Vegetables and has its orchards as well. Bilochpura Agro has its operations spread across the states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana & Goa in India.
Growing Wheat
A suitable location :- A location with fertile soil, which has a moderate water holding capacity, loam texture as well as good structure, are crucial aspects to be kept in mind.
Preparing the Soil :- To start one needs to plough the soil using the appropriate equipment, followed by planking. Subsequently natural fertilizers have to be added. One must keep in mind to add organic matters at the time of preparation of the soil.
Growing Rice
1. Selection of Seed :-
(i) For maximum production, good quality seeds are selected. Seeds should be grown, harvested and processed correctly
(ii) Good seed give uniform plant stand, early crop growth and resistance to pest and diseases.
(iii) Good seeds are uniform in size and more than 80% will germinate.
(iv) Most important step in rice production is choosing seed of desired variety and environment in which it will grow.
2. Land preparation :- Before plantation, loosening and turning of soil (ploughing) and leveling of soil is done. Weeds are also removed. Seeds are planted at right depth. Farmers plough the land using animals or tractors.

Estrela Foundation
Estrela Foundation is founded by Angad Singh Bilochpura and has initiatives and projects in various sections of the society. To mention a few are scholarships for the underprivileged students aimed school as well as undergraduate courses, ongoing project towards visually impaired, weekly football & dance coaching for the orphanages & mentally challenged homes, monthly birthday celebrations, nutrition support, etc. Mentioned in detail below.
Bilochpura Family is immensely philanthropic and donates a significant chunk of its annual profits towards different charitable organisations as well as the team. The family is set to donate a minimum of 10% of its profits to society by next year, inspired by the Sikh principle of Dasvanth.
